How it launched
Inspired by the work of the artist Shrine, the Shrine Towel was first released through Kickstarter, where 278 backers helped bring the initial production run to life.
Aloom is now placing it selectively with retail partners that feel like a genuine fit.
Woven from Shrine's work
The design is woven from a painting by Shrine. A portion of sales supports Highway Sanctuary, Shrine's artist residency in the California high desert.
